The Ionian

An Ionian home base.
Room to explore.

Long lunches by the water. An anchorage worth staying another night. A boat ready for the next chapter. The Greek Ionian is the starting point for the experience we want to help owners create.

The pleasure of returning.

The appeal is as much about familiarity as discovery. Return to a waterfront village you love, invite friends aboard or make time for a longer passage. Sailing yachts and motor yachts offer different ways to enjoy the same coastline, with routes chosen for the boat, the weather and the people aboard.

Why a Preveza–Lefkas home base?

An agreed home base brings continuity to the practical side: known service contacts, a maintenance plan, consistent records and arrangements for storage and handovers, so more of your time is spent on the water. We propose the Preveza–Lefkas area as the centre of those arrangements, with the actual berth or winter yard confirmed for each yacht.

Arrival and onward travel

Plan your journey around your sailing dates, allowing for seasonal transport options and the agreed handover location. Please check current flights, transfers and connections when you book.

Berthing and storage

Your operating budget should name the chosen berth or yard, what it includes and when the boat will be available. No specific marina space is implied until it is booked and confirmed.

Maintenance and preparation

A consistent base makes it easier to organise recurring servicing, yard periods and preparation between seasons, with supplier quotations and the yacht’s actual condition shaping the programme and cost.

The home base is not the cruising boundary.

Our home waters are the Greek Ionian, with opportunities to explore elsewhere in Greece and beyond. Owners can agree a wider seasonal plan where it suits the boat and the people aboard. Insurance cover, passage planning, entry requirements, weather, handovers and any delivery costs are addressed before a route is confirmed.

The boat returns for agreed maintenance and handovers unless the owners approve an alternative. That balance leaves room to explore while keeping service and cost arrangements workable.
