A life on
the water.
Your way.

Your own place aboard a yacht, with a practical home base in the Greek Ionian. Explore shared ownership and management options for sailing yachts, catamarans and motor yachts, with the freedom to plan further afield.

More time enjoying the boat.

A familiar yacht. Time to make it your own. The chance to return to favourite anchorages and discover somewhere new each season. Shared ownership brings the purchase and running costs within reach of a smaller group, with arrangements shaped around how the owners want to use their boat.

Ionian Yacht Club is developing a considered approach to yacht shares, syndicate setup and ongoing management. Our proposed home base is the Preveza–Lefkas area: a practical starting point for cruising, seasonal preparation, winter storage and maintenance. The precise service, costs and cruising arrangements are agreed for each yacht.

For owners who enjoy the passage as much as the destination. A familiar sailing yacht, a fair booking system and time to explore at your own pace.

Shared catamaran

Space to settle in, room for family and friends, and a comfortable base for longer stays. Shared ownership can make a well-equipped catamaran a more accessible proposition.

Motor yacht ownership

From independent cruising to a captained arrangement where appropriate, a motor yacht offers another way to enjoy the islands. Crew and service requirements are agreed for the individual boat.

A clear route from first interest to ownership.

01

Find the right fit

Discuss the kind of yacht, time aboard, budget and level of support that suit you. Establish the likely annual costs as well as the purchase price.

02

Agree the details

Review the yacht, ownership structure, usage calendar, management arrangements and proposed fellow owners. Complete the appropriate checks before committing.

03

Begin together

Complete only when the agreed buyers, funds, documents and operating arrangements are ready. Start with a clear calendar, budget and responsibilities.

Budgets and owner reporting

Available services and fees depend on the yacht and the agreed management appointment.

Stay longer. Return often.

There is a different rhythm to returning to a boat you know. Stock the galley, find your favourite berth and take time to explore beyond the usual week away. The Ionian offers the setting; the ownership arrangement should give you clarity about when you can enjoy it.

The Preveza–Lefkas area is our proposed base for the practical side of ownership. Your cruising plans can reach beyond it. Owners may agree routes elsewhere in Greece or further afield, subject to the boat’s insurance, seasonal calendar, handover arrangements and any additional costs.
